Olympus.io uses your existing file server’s snapshot and backup capabilities. This simplifies deployment and eliminates extra steps for data backup and protection.

The Olympus.io Virtual Appliance image is available in the Google, Amazon and Azure marketplaces. It is also available as a downloadable VMware OVA for ESX 6.0 and above. It can connect to existing SMB/CIFS or NFS filer as well as cloud file services from NetApp.

Desktop applications provide Windows and Mac desktop and laptop users with a native application that connects to the remote Olympus.io server and synchronizes selected folders to the local device. Users can specify which folders to keep synchronized to their devices to optimize storage.
